Brand New Waterproof HID White DC 12V CREE XML U2 T6 4 LEDs Spotlight
3500Lm x 2 = 7000Lm with automatic dimming function & strobe function
|
This listing is for 2 lights + 2 clamps + 1 normal handlebar switch |
For your information, a single core CREE T6 led produce 280LM at 700mA & produce 910LM at 3000mA
Some sellers claim that a single core T6 led lights can produce 1600LM, how could that possible?? |

- Using a normal on/off switch or a push button switch to activate the automatic dimming function
- A push button switch may not be as convenience though since you need to hold the button while the light is changing intensity
- When you close the on/off switch or push down the push button switch, the light will start dimming. It needs about 10~11 seconds from full power to the lowest intensity (about 4%)
- Once reached the lowest intensity, it will slowly increase to full power again. This action will keep cycling until you open the on/off switch or release the push button switch
- During the dimming cycle, you can choose the desire intensity by open the switch or release the push button
- It is actually quite easy to maneuver using how many seconds to reach your target intensity. For example: from the brightest setting count 5 seconds then stop the dimming cycle should reach 50% output or from the lowest setting
count 5 seconds then stop the dimming cycle should also reach 50% output
- The automatic dimming has no memory function, so it will resume to full power whenever the power is cut off
- It is more effective using full power in daytime to draw maximum attention from other drivers or pedestrian especially under bright sunlight, so it is more easy if the lights always at full power whenever you start your car or motorcycle
- When using at night, you can simply set the lights to a lower intensity in city traffic using the method mentioned above. Of course you can change the intensity while riding or driving.
- You can add an on/off switch to resume the lights to full power instantly
- Keep note that before using the dimming function, you need to join all the green wires from every led light to ensure synchronization of all the lights
|
|
|
- Using a normal on/off switch or a push button switch to activate the strobe function
- A push button switch may be more convenience since you won't need the strobe function quite often and for a long time
- When you close the on/off switch or push down the push button switch, the light will start flashing in full power
- When both green & purple wires ground together, only strobe function works

"L" mount + Clamp mount |
"L" mount only |
|
As some buyers reflected that the original bolt on the "L" mount is not easy to access with a screwdriver when space is limited, I changed the factory standard steel bolt to a 304 stainless steel hex socket bolt for better access using an allen wrench |
