- Using a normal on/off switch or a push button switch to activate the automatic dimming function
- A push button switch may not be as convenience though since you need to hold the button while the light is changing intensity
- When you close the on/off switch or push down the push button switch, the light will start dimming. It needs about 10~11 seconds from full power to the lowest intensity (about 4%)
- Once reached the lowest intensity, it will slowly increase to full power again. This action will keep cycling until you open the on/off switch or release the push button switch
- During the dimming cycle, you can choose the desire intensity by open the switch or release the push button
- It is actually quite easy to maneuver using how many seconds to reach your target intensity. For example: from the brightest setting count 5 seconds then stop the dimming cycle should reach 50% output or from the lowest setting
count 5 seconds then stop the dimming cycle should also reach 50% output
- The automatic dimming has memory function, so it will stay at the setting you have chosen even when power is off or removed
- Theoratically once the desired brightness is chosen, you may remove the switch used on dimming and use it for an extra dimming bypass option since it is not necessary to change the dimming output all the time.
- Keep note that before using the dimming function, you need to join all the green wires from every led light to ensure synchronization of all the lights.

- Using a normal on/off switch or a push button switch to bypass the dimming function to activate instant full power
- A normal on/off switch may be more convenience since you may need the lights in full power for a longer period under some circumstances
- When you open the on/off switch or release the push button switch, the light will resume to its previous preset output for example 20%

As some buyers reflected that the original bolt on the "L" mount is not easy to access with a screwdriver when space is limited, I changed the factory standard steel bolt to a 304 stainless steel hex socket bolt for better access using an allen wrench |
